Sales of Alli Rather Lackluster

CNN reports sales of Alli, the weight loss drug manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline, are much lower than expected even though the Journal of the American Medical Association reports 2/3’ds of Americans are overweight, and almost 1/3’d are clinically obese.

Well gee, I wonder why?  Maybe it's the side effects.  Loose stools, leakages and oily discharges are pretty distasteful problems to have.  In fact the educational pamphlets even recommend people start the program when they have a few days off work, or to bring an extra pair of pants to the office.  That's more than just an inconvenience that could possibly life altering.

I'd say we're all still waiting for a viable weight loss solution from the drug companies.  Meanwhile, good ole fashion nutrition and weight management is the way to keep those extra pounds off.  If you're looking for a diet plan for yourself or your family, drop by Top 10 Diets.

Until next time,
